Families of 208,445 Out of School Children (OOSC) in ten districts across Pakistan will be provided with support through Waseela- e- Taleem initiative of Benazir Income Support Program -Pakistan’s largest Social Protection Scheme.  ARC and BISP signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) where both organizations will work together to ensure that OOSC has access to quality education. ARC will utilize its expertise in social and community mobilization and strengthen the community based and school governance structure to facilitate the process of enrolment whereas BISP will ensure the provision of the enrollment information and data of all identified OOSC and ensure that their families have access to the Waseela- e Taleem benefit. Both organizations will conduct joint monitoring and review activities to ensure quality and gauge the impact of the collaboration on the situation of OOSC in the districts of Rajanpur, Muzaffargarh, Bahwalpur &Rahim Yar Khan in Punjab, Naseerabad & Gawadar in Balochistan, Mardan & Mansehra in KP and Shaheed Benazirabad & Tharparkar in Sindh.
